Intended Uses
Used for cutting branches (bigger than spindly twigs), pruning, and cross-cutting small logs. The limiting factor for the size of the branch or the log you can cut with this saw is the distance between the frame and the blade–4.5 to about 6 inches near the handle.
Special Instructions
- Caution–aggressively sharp blade!
- To start the cut, make a few small cuts on the pull stroke to make a nice kerf.

Instructions
- Cutting happens on the push and pull stroke.
- Don't apply mush downward pressure on the blade while cutting–let the blade do the work.
- Use long strokes!
- The handle is also a tensioner for the blade–to remove the blade or replace, pull the handle down and release tension on the blade. Then remove blade from front pin and rear clasp.
