Description
Ryobi Orbital Jig Saw (JS651L1). A jig saw has a reciprocating saw blade that allows the user to cut irregular shapes in various materials.
This jig saw's features include:
- 6.1 Amp motor
- Orbital adjustment knob (for matching orbital setting to the thickness and density of material you're cutting)
- Variable speed control selector for 0-3200 SPM (strokes per minute)
- Beveling shoe (base) 45 deg to the right or left
- LED light
- Lock on button for continuous work
This jig saw also comes with an edge guide (for straight cuts), an allen key (for adjusting bevel), and a soft case.
Intended Uses
This jig saw is intended to cut various materials: wood products (lumber, plywood, paneling, composition board and hard board), thin sheet metal, plastics, and laminates.
Generally, to find out the maximum thickness of a material you can cut, subtract 1 in from the total length of the blade.
Special Instructions
Please use the specific t-shank blades that correspond to what or how you're cutting--whether it's basic wood cutting, wood scrolling, or cutting thin metal!
When cutting metal, set the orbital setting ("Speedmatch") knob to zero!
