Description
MicroJig Grr-rip Block (GB-1). Set of two push blocks that allows you to safely grip wood while cutting on the table saw, router table, planar, etc.
This tool’s features include:
- Large gripping surface
- “Smart” hooks that automatically retract if you place them mid board and engage at the board end to ‘hook’ the board
- 90 deg. flip guide for vertical footing
- Mounts for shield plate (not included in this set)
This set comes with a reusable tie to hold them together in transit.
Also known as: Grip block
Often Used With: Jobsite table saw
Intended Uses
These push blocks are intended to help you grip a piece of wood for non-through cutting applications, although you can use them for ripping or cross-cutting wood on the table saw. A non-through cut on a table saw is when the blade cuts only part way through the material, not completely through. A dado is an example of a non-through cut.
Special Instructions
If you do not want the hooks to drop automatically, pull them into their upright position past a “spring-like” detent.
