Evolution RAGE4, 7-1/4 in., Multi-Material Chop Saw with Tungsten Carbide Tipped (TCT) blade. If you are cutting small diameter sections of mild steel, aluminum, wood that may have nails in it, or plastics, this saw is ideal. It’s like a hack saw on steroids.

Features of this chop saw include:

• Cuts multi-materials: steel, aluminum, wood and plastics using a single blade
• 1250-Watt/10 Amp motor
• 4200 RPM no load
• 7-1/4 in. 20-T Multi-Material cutting blade (20 mm blade arbor)
• Make miter cuts from 90 deg to 45 deg
• Ideal for cutting rebar, bolt trimming and other small awkward applications

This item comes with three hex keys for blade replacement and vice adjustment. The keys are attached by magnet to the underside of the base.

Intended Uses

This chop saw can cut many types of materials:

Wood

• Cuts up to a 2x4 at 90 deg. with or without nails/screws in the wood

Plastics

• PVC and other plastics

Metal:

• Mild steel (ferrous, meaning it’s made of iron, as well as, carbon) like angle iron, box section, and round section
• Rebar, threaded rod
• Non-ferrous metals like aluminum, copper

Special Instructions

Evolution blade has a 20mm arbor--most 7 ¼ blades won’t fit this saw. Stick with Evolution-specific blades.

It’s not recommended to cut pieces small than 6 inches long, where your hand will be too close to the blade.
