Description

Park Tool Bottom Bracket Tools for modern bikes. This set of five bottom bracket tools and one ratchet handle removes and installs a variety of bottom bracket types. 

This set consists of:

Intended Uses

Below are the characteristics and common fitments for each. 

Park Tool BBT-22: For installing and removing Shimano and ISIS Drive splined 20-tooth bottom bracket cups.

• Compatible with ⅜ in. ratchet drive, 32 mm wrench, or 1 in. wrench.
• Fits a wide variety of bottom brackets with a 20-tooth pattern, including models from Shimano, Truvativ, Race Face, FSA, and others. The tool clears the oversized spindles of ISIS Drive and Octalink.

Park Tool BBT-59.2: For installation and removal of 16-notch external bearing bottom brackets with 41 mm outside diameter cups.

• Compatible with ⅜ in. ratchet drive
• Fits Shimano BBR60 (Ultegra 11-speed 6800 series), Shimano MT-800

Park Tool BBT-69.2: For installation and removal of 16-notch external bearing bottom brackets with 44 mm outside diameter cups and some rotor disc lockrings.

• Compatible with ⅜ in. ratchet drive
• Shimano:registered: BB80, BB5700, XT:registered: BB70, BB51, and previous external bearing threaded cups
• External threaded types for Campagnolo, Chris King, FSA MegaExo, SRAM/Truvativ GXP, Race Face X-type, Surly, Wheels, Fulcrum, Hope (non-BSA30) and others
• 16-notch rotor disc lockrings
• 16-notch Bafang:registered: BBSH, BBS02 Mid Drive motor lockrings

Park Tool BBT-79: For installation and removal of 12-notch external bearing bottom brackets with 46 mm outside diameter cups.

• Compatible with ⅜ in. ratchet drive
• Fits SRAM DUB (will fit 24 notch cups), Race Face Cinch, Rotor BSA30, Zipp Vuma, Hawk Racing BB3086, and more
• Park Tool BBT-29: A double-ended bottom bracket wrench designed to fit 16-notch bearing cups with an outside diameter of 39mm and 48.5mm.
• Shimano Dura-Ace 9000 series, XTR 980 series, FSA MegaEvo
