Intended Uses

This bike trailer is intended for folks who want to transport the tools they borrow from the Library with a bicycle.  The cushion in the tough tote is intended to absorb bumps in the road, protecting the equipment inside.

Without the tote, this trailer can handle long items such as the multi-position ladder, properly tied down.

Special Instructions

We have two hitch types for this trailer. Bring your bike to the Library to determine which is most appropriate. One hitch mounts directly to the rear axle or quick release. The second hitch clamps to the chainstay or another section of the bike frame.

This trailer is only for inanimate objects–don't put your little sister or any person in it!

If using the clamp hitch, be aware that the clamp could scratch your bike's sweet paint job–consider using a rag or other protective barrier if you are at all concerned about marring your frame.

Cam straps should be placed to the outside of side bars and through the tough tote flanges for maximum security (there are holes in the lid and lip).

Always double-check the set-up before pulling a load!
