Description
Husky 21 oz Framing Hammer. A framing hammer really a claw hammer with a few special characteristics: a flat claw, a waffled/textured face, and is heavier.
Features of this item include:
- 21 oz head
- 16 in wood handle
- Magnetic nail setter
Also known as: Hammer
Intended Uses
Like the name implies, this hammer is mostly used for framing out walls. These features make the hammer good at what it does:
- flat claw: used more for prying boards apart than pulling nails, like a regular claw hammer
- waffled/textured face: used to prevent the face from slipping off the nail head
- heavy head, long handle: used to help drive nails faster, more efficiently
This hammer has a magnetic nail setter for one handed operation to get a nail started in the material you're nailing!
Special Instructions
Always check that the head is securely fastened to the handle. If the head of the hammer is loose, stop using it and bring it back–we'll pound some shims in it so the head doesn't fly off!
