Description

Ridgid Pneumatic 18-Gauge 2-1/8 in. Brad Nailer (R213BNF3). This nailer uses 18 gauge brad nails–a very thin finish nail with a very small head.

Intended Uses

This item is mainly used for finish and trim (interior and exterior), but can be used for: decorative trim, book cases, baseboard, cabinets, case backs, drawers, molding, mirror and picture frames, paneling, staircases, upholstery trim panels, wainscoting, window beading, chair rail, furniture frames, lattice strip molding, crafts.

This nailer accommodates 18 gauge brad nails from ⅝ to 2-⅛ inches long.


Special Instructions

Never point the nailer towards anyone!

Don't load nails into the magazine until you've connected the nailer to the air supply!

The pressure range for this nailer is 70-120 psi–Do not exceed 120 psi! Use the least amount of pressure necessary to drive the nails–usually this is around 80 psi.

As a safety measure, the workpiece contact must be retracted to allow a nail to be fired off, be careful to not depress the contact when you are not ready to fire one off!

Instructions

High-level order of operation: 

  1. Fill compressor tank with air
  2. Connect air hose to compressor
  3. Connect air hose to nailer
  4. Turn regulator knob to desired pressure
  5. Set the trigger to "sequential" or "contact" mode and set drive depth
  6. Load nailer's magazine with nails


To change trigger mode: 

  1. On right side of nailer, push black button (located above the trigger) in 
  2. While button is pressed in, turn mode selector dial to desired mode
  3. Release button on right side
