Special Instructions

There are a few special instructions that will keep this compressor running well for years to come. Please follow these guidelines:

Drain the excess pressure from the compressor at the end of every day of use:

  • Turn off/unplug compressor
  • Release pressure by pulling the ring on the safety valve until tank reads 20psi or less
  • Turn the drain valve 90 deg. to drain liquid and remaining pressure

Regulator knob is locked when pushed in–to unlock pull plastic knob out one click, then turn to reduce or increase pressure to tool–always place back in locked position after adjusting it!

Before and after use, turn regulator knob counterclockwise all the way and lock into place!

If you have to use an extension cord, use the ones available from the tool library–they are 12 gauge. Do not use any smaller diameter extension cords!

Always use the minimum amount of pressure necessary for the tool you are using–for the majority of our pneumatic tools that's about 80 psi!
