Description

Ridgid 3 in. X 18 in. Belt Sander (R2740). A corded orange and gray belt sander for tough sanding jobs.

This item's features include:

• 6 foot cord
• Variable speed dial
• Lock on button (for long sanding sessions)
• Dust bag
• Belt tension release lever (for no-tool sanding belt changes)

This item also comes with a contractor case.

Intended Uses

This item is intended for bigger sanding jobs than a palm sander. You can sand wood, metal or plastics, smooth rough boards, and remove rust, paint, and stains/varnishes.

Special Instructions

This sander requires 3 in. X 18 in. sanding belts.

Instructions

Change Sanding Belt: To change sanding belts, pull out belt tension release lever and slide out old belt. Slide new belt on and push tension release lever back in:

Change sander speed: Rotate variable speed dial–'A' is slowest; 'F' is fastest.
