Intended Uses

Sew different types of fabric, from lightweight fabrics like voile or chiffon to heavyweight fabrics like denim or canvas.

Also, use the specialized sewing machine feet for different types of tasks:

• General purpose foot: Used for most sewing tasks. This foot has a wide hole to accommodate the widest stitch on the machine. Also known as the all-purpose, zigzag, or universal foot.
• Zipper foot: Used for inserting zippers or piping. This foot sits to the right or left of center, allowing you to get closer to what you’re sewing than you could with the general purpose foot.
• Button foot: Used for attaching a button.
• Buttonhole foot: Used for sewing around a buttonhole.
