Description
Milwaukee Hackzall M12 Recip Saw. This is a small, 12 volt reciprocating saw. It's very similar to a Sawzall, but much smaller, lighter, and easy to use one handed in tight places.
This item's features include:
- 11" inches long
- 2.2 lbs. for cutting in tight spaces
- ½ inch stroke (this is smaller than a sawzall)
- Keyless blade changes–accepts Hackzall and Sawzall style blades
- Variable Speed Trigger
- Battery fuel gauge displays remaining run-time
- Built-In LED Light
This item also comes with four 12V batteries, a battery charger, and a contractor's bag.
Also known as: Reciprocating Saw
Similar to: Sawzall
Intended Uses
This tool is meant to cut through various materials such as drywall, wood, metal, PVC, and more! However, you need to use the blade meant for each of those applications. This is perfect for those applications where you need a Sawzall, but are in a tight space or can only cut one-handed!
Special Instructions
Like operating a jigsaw, make sure the hackzall blade extends beyond the workpiece (and shoe)--otherwise the tool will buck and likely break the blade. If the material is too thick for a particular blade, buy a longer blade! (Sawzall blades are compatible :)
Take out battery from tool when changing blades!
