Makita 16-5/16ths in.Circular Saw (5402NA). It's a circular saw on steroids! It has a large cutting capacity to handle beams, timber, and large pressure treated lumber.

This item comes with a storage holder, a rip fence, and an onboard allen key (located in the depth adjustment lever) for blade changes.

Intended Uses
Meant for cutting large timber, pressure treated lumber and wood logs. This is the perfect saw for cutting Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) from Timber Age Systems (full disclosure–our really nice neighbors!)
Special Instructions
For cutting wood only!!
Remember that this is basically a very large circular saw. Soooo, set the blade depth to only slightly beyond the thickness of the workpiece to avoid kickback and the possibility of the blade catching or cutting something underneath the workpiece.
