Intended Uses
This tool is used by 'smithies', primarily, but occasionally can be quite useful for the rest of us! The flat part of the hammer face is used mainly for hitting punches or cold chisels and shaping metal, while the round part of the hammer–peening part of the face–is for rounding off metal fasteners (think rivets and the like).
Special Instructions
When hitting metal objects, use this hammer–not a claw or framing hammer!
