Description

Park Tool Internal Cable Routing Kit (IR-1.2). Taking the guesswork and the frustration out of internally routed cable installation! This is a slightly older version of Park Tool's newest cable routing kit, having one fewer guide cable.

This item's features include:

• Works with any size frame including tandems.

• Includes four 250 cm (98") cables with attached magnets and unique fittings
  • Barbed adaptor — Threads into the end of brake & shift cable housing as well as hydraulic brake hose
  • Rubber adaptor — Securely holds electronic shifting wire such as Shimano Di2, SRAM RED eTAP, FSA K-Force WE, and Campagnolo EPS
  • Di2-specific adaptor — Specially-designed connector clips into the end of the Shimano E-tube Di2 shift cable, and is perfectly sized to fit into frame holes as small as 6 mm
  • Reverse-polarity magnet — Used in conjunction with any of the other guide cables - feeds into the opposite end and meets the leading cable in the middle, aiding in routing on frames with tricky interior shapes

Intended Uses

Used for installing cable wires and housing inside your bicycle frame, including internal frame routing of electric wires,  shift cable/housing, brake cable/housing, and hydraulic tubing on carbon fiber, Ti, and aluminum frames. Works with any size frame including tandems!

Special Instructions

Not recommended for steel frame bikes!
