Makita 3 in. X 18 in. Belt Sander (9911). This teal colored belt sander has a flat top for use as a stationary sander, and like any belt sander, can quickly take a lot of material off your stock!

Intended Uses
This item is intended for bigger sanding jobs than a palm sander. You can sand wood, metal or plastics, smooth rough boards, and remove rust, paint, and stains/varnishes.
Special Instructions
This sander requires 3 in. X 18 in. sanding belts.
For use as a stationary belt sander (using the tool upside down) you will need a couple of clamps to creatively clamp the tool's front handle (at least) to a table top.
Be aware that with a heavy grit belt, a lot of material will get sanded off in a short amount of time!

Instructions
Change Sanding Belt: To change sanding belts, pull out belt tension release lever and slide out old belt. Slide new belt on and push tension release lever back in.
