Description
Ungar 777 soldering iron. Just your basic soldering iron–some list this item as 'vintage.'
Features of this item include:
- Thread on tip–chisel
- Short tip and heating element so you can grip close to your work!
- 4.5 ft cord
Intended Uses
A soldering iron is used to melt solder (metal alloy) to fuse materials together. Applications include: electronics, jewelers, metal workers, etc.
I gather you can heat up a hotdog from the inside, too, tho I'm not sure you should eat said hotdog.
Special Instructions
This is a real basic unit–one temp (unknown) and no holder (besides the octagon shaped collar on the handle) to steady it on your table. It takes a few minutes to heat up and cool down.
Consider every part except the handle and cord to be hot once you plug it in!
Use in a ventilated area!
